Zydeco blues from Scandinavia (Denmark)

The N’City Blues Band is a dynamic four piece band that delivers authentic zydeco Blues. N’City’s sizzling guitar, smokin' blues harp and "rockin-chair rhythm section," delivers a "True-Blue Sound" that will get you up and shakin' all night long.

N’City is known for its engaging concerts with dancing and high spirits. N’City is one of the very few bands in Denmark which plays the happy New Orleans inspired zydeco blues.

The music is written by Torben Kaas who has drawn inspiration from the blues and zydeco environment in the South.
Torben writes & performs his songs in the urban zydeco style - fast paced with great harmonies.

Well known in parts of Denmark for their rockin' swamp, foot stompin' performances the N’City Blues Band will rock you right on into "What a Night" with their funky Mardi Gras dance tunes. It's a musical gumbo y'all won't soon forget!

N´City Blues made their first U.S - visit in september 2007, playing three koncerts in Baltimore, MD.

CD :
N´City Blues released the CD ”What a Night” September 2005.
and "Down in New Orleans" in 2007. Then "N´City Blues Live" in 2008. New CD release in november 2010. "Feat. Hans Leonardo Pedersen"
